I have a Wacom 3 Graphire Tablet, 3"x5". It has a clear cover that removes so that fancy-pants pictures can be put behind it. I have had the same dumb little sketch drawing on it for 4 yrs now.
...It was time for NEW.
Much, MUCH thanks to [link] . And ooooooh the temptation to keep you my super sexy brush secret.
Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL brushes by this deviant member, and extremely generous use of her free stock brushes. I highly recommend looking through her downloadable files. The brushes are georgeous.
RESPECT HER REQUESTS OF USE. THEY ARE VERY SIMPLE, AND SHE IS KIND ENOUGH TO SHARE WHAT SHE DOES.
As for these backgrounds, yes, absolutely, PRINT THEM!! USE THEM!! They are sized to my tablet, but say the word and I will adjust colors, sizes, and anything else your little hearts desire. Just say the word.
I reccommend taking these into photoshop and CHANGING THE IMAGE MODE TO CMYK! This is the mode MEANT for a PRINTER'S INK COLORS (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, K=black). JPEGS in RGB color are best for viewing on the computer screen!
THESE MUST BE PRINTED IN LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION TO FIT RIGHT

If you take a black and white image, and go to your photoshop menu
Edit-->define brush
It takes the black parts that it sees and creates a brush out of it that will appear at the very bottom of your brush list. You can take photos of plants, erase around them, and make a handy "rubber-stamp" to use in photoshop just by making a brush of it.
I've actually made my signature in black until I liked it, and then made it a brush. All have to do now is select it to use off my list.
It's really handy!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
